12.19.12 (Sorrow & Distress/Parable of the Sower)

12.19.12
---------------
God is always there.
* He will never leave us. (Deut. 31:8)
- The LORD is before you and is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged.

Sorrow and Distress brings us to God.
v. II Corinthians 7:10
- God uses our sorrow to bring us closer to Him and to repent to him which also leads us to salvation. Worldly sorrow with no repentance of our sins causes spiritual death.
v. Deut. 4:29-31
- Distress will bring you back to God. Search him with all your heart and He will deliver you. He is a compassionate God.
